Storytime Blog Hop- Coming Soon!

Storytime Blog Hop- Coming Soon!

Hi everyone!

On August 26th, I and several other authors will be posting flash fiction on our blogs for your reading pleasure.

These flash fiction stories (stories a thousand words or less, in case you aren’t familiar with the term) will be connected to our current or upcoming works. In my case, that means a story about Adren and Nadin in anticipation of my upcoming Hidden in Sealskin.

The story itself will be a comedic tale about them getting lost in a forest because magic and trying to deal with it in two very different ways. (I don’t know what it is about these two, but I love putting them into ridiculous situations and then letting them play off each other.)

Come to think of it, I’ve posted a few excerpts from an early draft as well as the new beginning for Hidden in Sealskin, which focus mostly on Adren, but there’s nothing with both Adren and Nadin together. So this’ll be your first time seeing them in action. :)

In addition to our stories, each author will also provide links to all the other stories, which will be perfect for reading whatever catches your fancy. Of the authors participating, two of them, Katharina Gerlach and Rabia Gale, are writers I particularly admire. There is also Elizabeth McCleary, whose books I was going to read in Thea Reads (A Buttload of Books), but didn’t get time for until a couple weeks ago – they’re worth reading. Do make sure to check those authors out as you peruse all our offerings that day.

*squees* I’m so excited to share this story with you, and to read what my fellow authors have written (you can be sure I’ll be reading ALL the stories). August 26th can’t come soon enough!
